The Mawson CFS Group was formed after the merging of three groups; Noarlunga, Happy Valley, and Mitcham Hills into the two new groups - Mawson and Sturt.

The Mawson group contains all the brigades around the Onkaparinga Gorge with the exception of McLaren Vale who remain in the Kyeema Group. The name Mawson was derived from the name of one of the electoral areas that the new group covers.

  • Happy Valley
  • Seaford
  • Blewitt Springs
  • McLaren Flat
  • Kangarilla
